Call the substitutions, not just the XI
Anyone can guess a starting eleven from last week's teamsheet. Calling who comes off the bench, and when, is the part that takes actually watching a team. Name up to 3 substitutions after you save your XI, and land all 3 to earn the Triple Change badge.
Save your XI first
Sub calls come after your eleven, never during it. Build and save your XI exactly as you always have, and nothing about that changes.
Tap the player you think comes off
You get your own eleven back, on the pitch. Tap the one you doubt lasts ninety minutes. That is the half of the prediction you already have an opinion about.
Name who comes on for him
Pick his replacement from the bench, like for like first. That is one sub call. Make up to three, or stop at one, or skip the whole thing.
Get all 3 onto the pitch and you earn the badge
A triple change is three, so the badge is three. It shows on your scorecard, on the image you share, and on your profile where they add up. Landing one or two is still worth seeing, and we will say so, but the badge itself is all or nothing.
Your man comes on, whoever he replaces
Naming who makes way sharpens the prediction and reads better when it comes off, but it is not the bar. Managers rarely make the exact swap anyone predicted, and a badge nobody earns would not be worth having.
Your score is your XI against the real XI, out of 11, exactly as it has always been. A sub call earns a badge, not points. It is not part of your accuracy, it does not move you on any leaderboard, and it has no bearing on a monthly or season position. The same way formation accuracy is tracked and celebrated without ever being added to your total.
Calls lock when your XI does, two hours before kick off by default, and are checked once the match is over. If we never receive substitution data for a fixture your calls stay unresolved rather than being marked wrong. Not being able to check is not the same as you getting it wrong.
